Monday - slow cookin'

I felt very very pleased with myself this morning. Lasagne requires a bit of mucking about in the kitchen, especially when you haven't made it for a while and realise you're working from a dodgy recipe. However, knowing the dinner is cooking away all day and will be ready whenever you need it is BRILLIANT. Seriously. I served a bit up for the kids at 4.30 and Ian and I had ours at 7pm. It's very difficult to overcook in the slow cooker. If you haven't got one, get one! That is, unless of course, you're Oprah reading this and you already have a chef!
